Affiliate membership

 

As an Affiliate Member, you will be enrolled in post-graduate studies or be in a junior post-doc position in a physiology, biomedical or life sciences discipline. The community includes those studying towards an MSc, MRes, PhD or MD qualification. You may join at any stage of your degree and can remain an Affiliate Member for up to five years after obtaining your highest degree. At the end of this period, we will invite to upgrade your membership to become a Full Member of The Society in order to stay a member of the Society and gain access to additional benefits.In 2016, Affiliate membership costs £40. Members (all categories) on a career break or maternity leave are eligible for a one year waiver of the subscription fee from the date you notify us of these circumstances.  If this applies to you please write to us at membership@physoc.org. You retain all your benefits of membership during this period. The Society may ask for evidence of your circumstances (i.e. MATB1).
