The Benevolent Fund of The Physiological Society

London, United Kingdom

Welcome to the Benevolent Fund minisite!

The Benevolent Fund of The Physiological Society is here to offer financial assistance to physiologists in financial difficulty. The fund can help staff, students and former staff, who can be considered to have advanced physiology either by teaching, administering, practising or researching the subject. The remit of the fund is broad and can also support the dependents of physiologists.

The Benevolent Fund is small, but can respond quickly and flexibly to requests (for how to apply see the “How can we help you?” section of this website). It was established nearly 30 years ago by members of the Physiological Society by Trust Deed and is an unincorporated charity. Please use the menu to the left to visit areas of interest, such as who we are, what we do, and how to apply for support. Do keep us in mind when you learn of someone in financial need, if you would like to donate, please see the “How you can help us?” section of this website.
