Cardiopulmonary exercise testing and interpretation

This three-day workshop is intended for post-graduate exercise physiologists and practitioners with an interest in the application of advanced cardiopulmonary exercise tests in health and disease. This workshop will cover the underpinning physiology, practical aspects, analysis and interpretation of parameters derived from exercise tests (including constant-load and ramp-incremental tests), and the implication of these for physiological function, exercise performance and prognosis.

There is a participation fee of £100 for Members of The Society, and £200 for non-Members. Participants are expected to organise and fund their own travel and accommodation costs. Members of The Physiological Society are encouraged to apply for travel grant funding to support their attendance on this course.
