Membership
As a Full Member, you will be a research or teaching active physiologist, biomedical/life scientist or research active clinician/vet working at an advanced level for a recognised academic institution or within industry or the healthcare sector.
You will have published at least two papers in a relevant peer-reviewed journal or provide evidence of one paper and evidence of having presented a communication or demonstration at a scientific conference. Alternatively, we also accept evidence of the development of two teaching resources, or one resource and one scientific communication.

Members (all categories) on a career break or maternity leave are eligible for a one year waiver of the subscription fee from the date you notify us of these circumstances. If this applies to you please write to us at membership@physoc.org. You retain all your benefits of membership during this period.

What do I need to do?
Click on the Join Now button above. You will need to fill in an online application, and demonstrate one of the following criteria:
- Published at least two papers, preferably (but not necessarily) as first or last author, in a relevant peer-reviewed journal;
- Also accepted is evidence of the development of two teaching resources, or one teaching resource and a communication, demonstration or publication.
