The post holder will work on a project examining neural circuitry in schizophrenia. S/he will apply optogenetic and chemogenetic methods to investigate circuit models of schizophrenia; the experimental designs will bring together rodent models, viral vectors, in vivo chemical, optical and electrophysiological methods, immunohistochemical and behavioural assessments.
