Title: Postdoctoral position in Exercise and Environmental Physiology

Location: Division of Physiology, Department of Sports Science, University of Innsbruck, Furstenweg 185, A-6020 Innsbruck, Austria.

Closing date: 27th of January 2018

Start date: As early as 1st of March 2018

We are seeking a Postdoctoral fellow to join our team within the Division of Physiology, Department of Sports Science at Innsbruck University.

The candidate should have a PhD or MD degree with a life sciences or clinical background. Strong candidates will possess experience in human research in the areas of exercise and/or environmental physiology and have a have a strong interest in cardiovascular physiology, and/or neuroscience. Experience and success obtaining extramural funding is an advantage alongside technical proficiency in ultrasonography, continuous haemodynamic monitoring (e.g. Lab chart / Acknowledge), and associated data processing methodologies. 

The candidate should have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to work effectively in a multinational research group to assist researchers within the Division of Physiology and develop and implement their own research agenda. 

Proficiency in German is not a prerequisite but is an advantage.
