This three-day workshop at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK provides theoretical and practical guidance on imaging live cells and tissues, focusing on the use of fluorescence microscopy. The course is designed for beginners and includes lectures and hands-on experience of both short- and long-term observations using widefield, confocal and multi-photon microscopy. The final day includes demonstrations of image analysis for object identification, quantification, tracking, and fluorescence lifetimes.

The workshop will be held in the Henry Wellcome Laboratory for Cell Imaging, Faculty of Science.

The registration fee is £25 for Physiological Society Members and £100 for non-Members. All meals are provided, but not accommodation. Society Members are encouraged to apply for travel grant funding to support their attendance on this course.
