Nominations for FEPS President-Elect

I am writing in my position as Chair of the FEPS Nominating Committee.  This Committee has been charged with finding a President-Elect who will take up the post at the Vienna meeting (September 2017). This individual will then serve a four year term as President starting in 2019 followed by two years as Past-President.  This role is of great importance for the development of FEPS and it is important that an appropriately qualified individual is identified. Anyone who is either interested in taking on this post or has suggestions of others who should be considered should contact me (eisner@manchester.ac.uk) before January 2017. The Nominations Committee will then reduce the list of names to two and the President-Elect selected by a vote of FEPS Council. Both I and the current President (Prof Dr Markus Hecker, hecker@physiologie.uni-heidelberg.de) can also provide information about what the post involves.  FEPS is committed to increasing diversity and we would particularly welcome suggestions of female candidates.
