2018 Rob Clarke Award - the winners!

We’re pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 Rob Clarke Awards, which recognise excellence in undergraduate physiology research. Entrants had to submit an abstract of their work, and those with the best abstracts were then invited to present a poster at Europhysiology 2018.

In 2018, the following individuals received an award for both their abstract and their poster:

  • Bryony Curry, Cardiff University / Cardiff Metropolitan University
  • Tomas de Jesus Parreira Esteves Coluna, University College London
  • Bobby Harrop, Brunel University
  • Emil Nasyrov, Heidelberg University
  • Michael Vaughan, University College Cork

Dr Sarah Hall, judge and Chair of The Society’s Education and Outreach Committee, said, “I was very impressed with the standard of work, but even more impressed with the way that the entrants were able to discuss with the judges the general context and potential impact of their research, as well as the specific details.”

  • Konstantinos Baronos, King's College London
