New Scientific Editor of Physiology News appointed

The Society is pleased to announce that Keith Siew has been appointed as Scientific Editor of Physiology News. Keith will take up the role in March 2018.

Keith, who undertook his PhD at the University of Cambridge, has held several roles within The Society, including Affiliate Representative to Council, and has been a member of the Education & Outreach and Membership & Grants committees. He has been a member of the Physiology News Editorial Board since 2012 and was guest editor for the Imaging Special in Summer 2014.

The Society thanks Roger Thomas, who is standing down as Scientific Editor after completion of his term of office.

Upon his appointment as Scientific Editor, Keith said:

“As a Member, I always look forward to receiving my copy of PN, both for the interesting articles as well as the sense of community and belonging it fosters in its readership. Since I’ve been on the Editorial Board, my passion for the magazine has only grown. It’s been great to see it go from strength to strength since the 2012 relaunch and I’d like to thank Roger Thomas and Mike Collis for all their work over the years. This is a really exciting time for The Society, with our new strategy launching in 2018, and I’m enthusiastic about the role PN can play in this.”
