Registration is now open for Physiology 2019

Our annual conference is The Society’s flagship event, and is your opportunity to hear the latest in Physiology while catching up with friends and colleagues from around the world. Between 8 – 10 July 2019, we look forward to hosting you in Aberdeen, where you will enjoy a warm Scottish welcome and a memorable, first class conference.

The scientific programme of 18 symposia and 126 oral communications will be complemented by five satellite symposia on 7 July 2019, which are free to attend. There will also be seven prize lectures presented during Physiology 2019, including the Annual Review Prize Lecture awarded to Silvia Arber from the University of Basel, Switzerland. The programme will also include poster sessions as well as plenty of time for networking. Abstract submission will open on 1 March 2019

Aberdeen is associated with five Nobel Prizes, including John Macleod’s for Medicine or Physiology for his work on insulin. As the ‘Oil Capital of Europe’, Aberdeen has excellent transport links, including a well serviced international airport. Alongside this Aberdeenshire offers stunning beaches and wildlife, numerous golf courses and whisky distilleries, and more than 300 castles and stately homes.  Make sure to make the most of your Scottish experience by attending the ceilidh dance after The Physiological Society conference dinner!
