Thomas Kleyman appointed Editor-in-Chief of Physiological Reports as of January 2018. Morten Bækgaard Thomsen appointed Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

The Joint Management Board of Physiological Reports, representing the Publication Committees of The Society and the American Physiological Society, is pleased to announce the following appointments:

Thomas R. Kleyman MD, Chief of the Renal-Electrolyte Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, has been appointed to succeed  Professor Sue Wray, as Editor-in-Chief of the journal.  The editorship will change hands on 1st January 2018.  Tom has served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Physiological Reports since its launch in 2013 and is a former Editor-in-Chief of AJP-Renal Physiology.

Professor Morten Thomsen, Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen has been appointed as Deputy Editor-in-Chief, succeeding Tom Kleyman. Morten has served as an Associate Editor of the journal since July 2015.

The new team will be taking the helm of a dynamic young journal that is already making an important contribution to physiology.

Although Sue Wray has six months of her term still to go, the JMB would like to take this early opportunity to express its thanks.  The success of Physiological Reports is in very large part down to the energy, creativity and hard work of Sue, as founding Editor-in-Chief, and her editorial team.
