This is a two-week residential workshop primarily for postgraduate/postdoctoral workers, sponsored by The Physiological Society, teaching microelectrode, patch clamp and optical techniques. The workshop provides 25 hours of lectures and 10 demonstrations covering the technical basis of electrophysiological and optical measurements, plus three x three-day hands-on experiments in different techniques.
