The Point / Counterpoint session for young investigators took place on Friday 2 September. The aim was to show how scientific ideas develop and how conflicting data or different interpretations of the same data can give rise to controversies within science. We met up with three participants for a preview of their debate on oxygen sensing and hypoxia.
