President's Lecture 2019

07 September 2019

The Royal Institution, London, United Kingdom

The Physiological Society’s 2019 President’s Lecture will be delivered by NASA astronaut and physiologist James Pawelczyk. It will take place at the Royal Institution in London on Saturday 7 September 2019 from 13:00. Families are invited to join us for an afternoon of space-related activities that will inspire children about space physiology!

James Pawelczyk’s lecture, ‘What price a Martian: Human limits to exploring the red planet’, will focus on how the environment in space differs to that on Earth and how this affects the human body and its ability to survive on planets such as Mars.

The event will be free. More information and registration will be available from the end of April.
