60% of grades 2:1 or higher (6)
30% of grades 2:1 or higher (4)
No 2:1 or higher grades (2)

2.    Quality of project proposal (out of 6)
Marks awarded for the following:
a.    Physiological in nature (1)
b.    Clear project aims (1)
c.    A clear background and method presented (2)
d.    Achievable in timeframe, with resources proposed (2)

3.    Potential for student to benefit (out of 8)
Marks awarded for the following:
a.    Clear description of training involved and how progress will be supported/monitored (4)
[2 marks for training, 2 marks for support/monitoring]
b.    Clear description of exposure to wider activities outside the project (2)
c.    Reason for applying (2)
