Affiliate membership


As an Affiliate Member, you will be enrolled in post-graduate studies or be in a junior post-doc position in a physiology, biomedical or life sciences discipline. The community includes those studying towards an MSc, MRes, PhD or MD qualification. You may join at any stage of your degree and can remain an Affiliate Member for up to five years after obtaining your highest degree. At the end of this period, we will invite to upgrade your membership to become a Full Member of The Society in order to stay a member of the Society and gain access to additional benefits.

What do I need to do?

To join as an Affiliate Member you will need to fill in an application form and have a proposer – someone who is a Member of The Society. Should you need help finding a proposer, we are happy to help: please click here.
