Molecular and Synthetic Biology for bio-medical research

#

In collaboration with Teaching and Research in Natural Sciences for Development in Africa (TReND), this course will teach the core aspects of molecular and synthetic biology, as a foundation for understanding and carrying out experiments using genome editing as a tool. Techniques include western blotting, PCR, gel electrophoresis, transfection, cloning, an introduction to synthetic biology and use of CRISPR.
