We have lots of different opportunities that come up throughout the year. Keep an eye on this page to find out more.
Level Up Human – feature in a live comedy science podcast panel show
About Level Up Human
Let’s redesign the human! We’ll soon be able to edit our genome, travel in driverless cars, hug companion robots… let’s write a to-do list for humanity.
Wouldn’t it be great to zoom in with your eyes, change colour at will or type with your feet?
Our guest judges consider pitches from experts, the studio audience and Mother Nature herself in pursuit of good ideas for the next stage of humanity.
How can you get involved?
If you are a physiologist looking to broaden your skills outside of the lab and inspire others to take an interest in science then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The Physiological Society has funded a series of Level Up Human podcasts and we are looking for a different member to sit on the panel for each of the nine new episodes. If successful in being selected to sit on the panel you will be asked to answer the question: ‘if you were to redesign the human body what would you change?’
Dates for three recordings have been confirmed:
- 15 June 2019 (Hatch, Manchester)
- 16 July 2019 (Barbican Centre, London)
- 20 Aug 2019 (Barbican Centre, London)
There will be more dates and venues to follow if you can’t make these.
If you are interested in finding out more and speaking to the creators of the podcast then please email email@example.com. You can also find out more about the podcast or listen to previous episodes here.
