This webinar is the first session of ‘The Emergence of Health: Navigating Through Mechanisms, Drivers, Hallmarks and Analyses’ webinar series. This series also includes webinars on Summary Indexes of Health: Markers as Outcomes of Variability, Complexity, and Systemic Adaptations and Extreme Longevity: The Blurry Journey Through Hallmarks and Mechanisms.

The novel field of network physiology is rooted in the awareness that complex physiological systems and subsystems, each with its own regulatory mechanisms, continuously interact, leading to global behaviour and distinct physiologic functions. Advancements in manufacturing technologies for wearable sensing devices of the last decade promotes the development of non-invasive tools for the continuous monitoring of bio-signals and biochemical compounds.

This webinar will explore network physiology through stressors and sensors, bio-signals, multilayer network behaviour and outcomes, with the aim of providing original insights and perspectives of human health.
