This webinar is the second session of ‘The Emergence of Health: Navigating Through Mechanisms, Drivers, Hallmarks and Analyses’ webinar series. This series also includes webinars on From Stressors to Dynamics of Living Systems: Network Physiology Perspectives of Human Health and Extreme Longevity: The Blurry Journey Through Hallmarks and Mechanisms.
As disruption of biological functions can lead to adaptations of health and/or illness experiences, there is an increased need of indexes to identify both observable and latent states of health disturbances.
The complex link between the nervous and immune system provides bases to define stress-associated immune dysregulation. The interplay of microbiota profiles and dietary habits is an example of the complex interconnectedness of biological functions and lifestyle habits. Oral diseases are among the most prevalent diseases globally and have serious health burdens and, as with most non-communicable diseases, are strongly socially patterned.
This webinar aims to demonstrate the importance of sharing subjective and objective markers of human health, identifying associated risks, and obtaining original insights about physiological and pathophysiological processes of chronic diseases.
