Join us for a celebration of physiology, physiologists and The Society.
Members can either attend the Member Forum in person at the Royal Society in London or online. Please select the appropriate option during the booking process. Please note, in person attendance is limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Our Member Forum will provide you with an opportunity to hear about our recent activities and exciting plans for the future as we look to raise the visibility of physiology in an inclusive and sustainable manner. There will be a chance to meet the new Trustees of The Society and thank demitting Trustees. There will also be opportunities throughout the Member Forum to ask questions, whether you are attending in-person or online.
An exciting addition to this year’s Forum is that those attending in person will be able to speak with a number of early career members who will be presenting their posters as part of the Rob Clarke Awards.
There will also be an ‘in conversation’ discussion, where the demitting President, Professor David Paterson (University of Oxford, UK), will talk with the incoming President, Professor David Attwell (University College London, UK), about his life and work, finding out what inspires him and asking what his discoveries might do to improve human health.
For those able to attend in person, there will be a chance to catch up with colleagues and friends over refreshments before the event. Please take a moment to look at the measures we are taking to ensure everyone’s safety at our in-person events and email events@physoc.org if you have any questions.
