Adipocytes are central to whole-body metabolic health, yet many of the molecular events that govern their responses to hormonal and nutritional cues remain incompletely understood. In this talk, I will discuss how our group combines ‘omics approaches and functional screening to study hormonal regulation of adipocyte glucose and lipid metabolism, and how these pathways become dysregulated in insulin resistance.
