The Physiological Society’s blue plaques honour outstanding physiologists who have contributed to the advancement of the discipline through their discoveries while leaving a legacy beyond their lifetime.
The Physiological Society has a 140 year tradition at the forefront of life sciences.
Honorary Fellowship is the highest honour that The Physiological Society presents to an individual. It is awarded to those individuals who are ‘persons of distinction in science who have contributed to the advancement of physiology’.
The Nominations Committee considers nominations at their Autumn meeting.
