At this event we will be celebrating the inaugural Excellence in Physiology Award, given to the Extreme Environments Group (EEG) at the University of Portsmouth. This accolade acknowledges the innovative, life-saving physiological research that EEG has carried out, which has influenced global practices and policies, improving both athlete and occupational safety in extreme environments.  We will also be hearing talks from a fantastic line-up of speakers demonstrating the impact of this work in the real world.
