From ‘Black Box’ to Trusted Healthcare Tools: Physiology’s role in unlocking the potential of AI for health: Report Launch
Join us in Parliament to launch our report ‘From ‘Black Box’ to Trusted Healthcare Tools: Physiology’s role in unlocking the potential of AI for health’. Meet with MPs and hear from experts on the opportunities and challenges of AI tools in health.
Artificial intelligence has the potential to transform health by facilitating improved detection of disease and prevention of ill health. Embedding physiological insight into systems is essential to the successful development and implementation of clinically reliable and effective tools. The UK is in a unique position to realise the potential of AI health tools due to hosting both the critical clinical data and the highly skilled researchers and healthcare professionals needed.
Join MPs, physiologists and AI experts as we launch our report with recommendations to government on using physiological insight to maximise the opportunities and minimise the risks of AI tools in health. This will unlock the power of AI to improve patient outcomes, increase healthy lifespan and reduce the overall burden on the NHS.
