The Science Council is looking to refresh the 2014 list of the 100 leading scientists in the UK.
The 2016 list will celebrate new talent and affirm those still leading the professional practice of science in the UK. It covers all practising scientists from explorer scientists to entrepreneurs, from teachers to policy makers.
As a member body of the Science Council, The Physiological Society has been invited to submit nominations. Members of The Society may also make independent nominations.
The Physiological Society is keen to ensure physiologists are represented on this list; therefore, we encourage you to make an independent nomination or to suggest a scientist for The Society to nominate.
To suggest an individual for The Society’s nomination, please contact cstokes@physoc.org by Monday 10 August. We would also be interested to hear from you if you nominate to the Science Council directly.
Guidance notes and judging criteria are available on the Science Council website.
