The Society is delighted that Professor Colin Blakemore FRS has been knighted in the Birthday Honours.
Sir Colin was President of the Society from 2001 to 2003 and is a consulting editor for The Journal of Physiology. He was knighted for services to Scientific Research, Policy and Outreach.
