The deadline for the Society’s innovative new Teaching and Research Grants is 31 March. Both schemes offer funding of up to £10 000 for one year and are open to both Members and non-members.
Our Teaching Grants, which extend the Society’s commitment to physiology teaching, provide funding for those who teach physiology to create a teaching resource or carry out educational research. They are open to teaching-focussed physiologists at any stage in their career and offer individuals the chance to disseminate their work and advance the teaching of their subject.
The Research Grants provide support to physiologists who have recently taken up a permanent position. These grants, which can be used to support research or provide seed-funding for a new project, aim to plug the tricky funding gap which can occur at the beginning of a new position.
The application forms for both schemes are available online (or via the links above), if you require any further information email highereducation@physoc.org
