Philip Wright, CEO of The Physiological Society, will be leaving at the end of October 2015.
After 5 years of leading The Society, Philip Wright believes it is time to find new challenges and is looking forward to spending more time on the company he is chairing. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time at The Society and has left it in a stronger position than 5 years ago – with new premises, a new journal and a bigger programme of initiatives and meetings that will continue to support physiology. Finally, he has enjoyed working with all three Presidents that have served as well as the Trustees and numerous Committee Members.
Casey Early, Director of Finance, will be acting as interim CEO whilst we seek to recruit a successor.
We wish Philip all the best for the future.
