John Cripps consults for growth companies primarily in the chemical and consumer goods sectors.
The assignments involve working across strategy development, growth and change management, governance and commercial outreach.
Prior to consulting, John worked at senior level for a number of major organisations both in banking, including Lazard, Schroders, HSBC and in industry, with Bass and Syngenta. After leaving the leading global food and agribusiness bank Rabobank International in 2003, where he was a Managing Director and joint Head of European M&A, he joined Syngenta, the world-leading agrichemicals and seeds business. As a member of the Group’s New Business Committee John was responsible for initiating and building Syngenta’s Venture Capital unit, which is now a world leader.
John has a BA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford, UK. He is excited by the new initiatives in applied science being driven by The Physiological Society and being able to add his experience to that already in the Board.
