Peter is Principal Research Fellow in Human Factors at Imperial College London. He is an expert in human factors and design safety. His work is primarily within the NIHR funded In-vitro diagnostic co-operative based within the Department of Surgery and Cancer. 

He also sits on advisory committees for the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and on several expert committees for the Government Health and Safety Executive, including the Workplace health expert committee.
