Job Description:
Kenhub is a leading online platform dedicated to providing high-quality educational resources in the field of anatomy and histology. Their mission is to make the learning of medical sciences engaging, accessible and effective for students and professionals worldwide. They are seeking a talented and passionate professional to collaborate with them on a full-time basis as a Medical Content Writer, specializing in Physiology. The chosen candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for creating engaging educational content for their users (articles, video scripts, quizzes etc.), possess strong content management and organizational skills, operate with meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to write at a ‘textbook standard’ level.
Skills/requirements:
Essential
● Background specialized in Human Physiology is essential for this role, i.e., MSc or PhD
in Physiology (or closely related discipline). Candidates with qualifications in wider/more
general health-related disciplines will be asked to demonstrate specific training/expertise
in physiology, outside of that covered in their primary degree course.
● Experience with content/course creation for physiology topics (digital or print/academic).
● Strong knowledge of Human Anatomy is also essential.
● Excellent writing skills: Native/fluent English speaker or experience living in an English
speaking country preferred (although not mandatory). Formal training in English
grammar, writing conventions and medical writing style would be advantageous.
● Must reside within time zones GMT-5 → GMT+4 (preferably based in Europe).
● Have excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail, with a strong ability to
reconcile and standardize information from different sources.
● Must be willing to commit to a long term collaboration.
● Have a strong ability to work independently, as well as handle tasks responsibly and
efficiently.
● Possess an adaptable skill set, be enthusiastic about acquiring new abilities and willing
to take on ‘routine’/’less stimulating’ tasks, when required.
Preferred
● Knowledge of image and/or video editing programs (not mandatory, but certainly a plus).
