The Journal of Physiology Editorial Board Fellowship applications

Engaging in peer review is both a privilege and obligation for most working scientists. While many early career researchers have acted as referees/reviewers for journal manuscripts either in their own right, or under the tutelage of a supervisor or mentor, far fewer have a solid understanding of the later stages of editorial consideration, or what it takes to edit and publish a journal. To bridge this knowledge gap, The Journal of Physiology introduced a scheme called the Editorial Board Fellowship. Now in its fifth year, this is an opportunity for junior faculty to be directly engaged in the editorial process under the guidance of a Senior Editor.
